Reports Overview
ProEstimate HEAVY has numerous reports relating to the estimate data entered for a project. There are also varying levels of detail printable on each report, depending on what information is desired and how much information has been entered for a project. A detailed explanation the options available for each report is explained below. Below is a list of all the reports you can print for an estimate. When selecting some reports, you may see an options window allowing you to select report options. The options for these reports will be explained below. Summary Spreadsheet Bid Report Environment Listing Balance Report Project Totals (NO OPTIONS) Displays and prints a one-page summary of the total project costs. There are two types of project totals reports and both are a single page report. The summary report lists the totals for each cost type as well as mark-up. This report breaks down detail for each cost type. Budget/Foreman’s Report Displays and prints two different reports. The budget report lists each pay item (and optionally each task) and the cost code (or phase code) assigned to each. The foreman’s report is a detailed listing of the labor, equipment, and material requirements for each task. Cost numbers are not shown on these reports. Metric Conversion Report Alternate Report Notes Batch Reports Task Detail Report DBE/WBE Report Sub/Material Pricing (NO OPTIONS) Prints a report listing each pricing sheet, each sub/supplier total quote within each sheet, and which sub/supplier is loaded into the estimate. Labor/Equip Utilization Report Matl/Asphalt Detail Report Project Indirects Profit Analysis Report Category Detail Report Prints a report showing the totals for each category within the current project, with totals listed for each cost type. Phase Detail Report Prints a report showing the totals for each phase within the current project, with totals listed for each cost type. Single Pay Item Report (Summary or Detailed) Prints a report showing totals for the current pay item. You can select to print a SUMMRY or DETAILED report. The detailed report is the same information included on the Task Detail report mentioned above. Exception Report Prints a report showing any/all pay items that are outside the limits of user-defined criteria. For example, using this option you can print a list of all pay items that are 20% more than your average historical prices. What-If Analysis Report Figure 1
Displays and prints a spreadsheet-type report showing the cost detail for each pay item.
Displays and prints a report showing the unit bid and extension for each pay item.
(NO OPTIONS) Displays and prints a one page report showing the project settings for the current project.
(NO OPTIONS) Displays and prints a report showing the calculated and balanced bid for each pay item and any variance.
Displays and prints a report showing both the English and Metric quantities and unit prices for each pay item.
Displays and prints a report of each alternate, and optionally, each pay item included within each alternate.
(NO OPTIONS)Displays and prints a report listing all the project, pay item and task notes entered in the estimate.
This option allows you to select multiple reports and print them all at one time.
Prints a report showing the detailed resource costs within the estimate.
Prints a report showing all DBE’s/WBE’s included in the bid.
Summary
Prints a report showing the detailed labor or equipment usage within the project.
Prints a report showing the detailed material (or asphalt) requirements for the project.
(NO OPTIONS) Prints a report listing the indirect costs entered on the job closing screen.
(NO OPTIONS) Prints a report showing the extra profit on the project due to take-off quantity and balanced prices.
Prints a report showing any or all the prices currently entered on the “WhatIf” screen.
Report Preview Toolbar
On all reports, you have the option to preview the report on the screen. At the top of the preview screen, you will see the toolbar shown in Figure 1. Most of the options on the toolbar are self-explanatory. Listed below are the functions of each option on the toolbar.
Closes the print preview window without printing.
Sends the currently displayed report to the printer. The standard MS Windows printer dialog window will be displayed allowing you to select the printer to use as well as other printer related options.
Allows you to export the currently displayed report to a file. You can export to any of the following formats: HTML, Rich Text Format, or Text Format.
These options allow to you to move from page to page within the report. In the order that these buttons are displayed you can: move to the First page, Previous Page, Next Page and Last Page.
This option allows you to move to a specific page within the report.
These two buttons allow you to zoom in or out of the report.
This field displays the current page number of the report.
