Using Categories & Phases

 


Overview: Categories and Phases are two different and useful ways to classify and breakdown pay items within a project.  To properly use these options you must first assign each pay item a category (or phase) number.  You can then assign each category or phase number a descriptive name.  For example, you might assign Category 1 to “Roadway Items” and Category 2 to “Bridge Items” and then designate phases within each of those categories .
