After you have installed the program, the ProEstimate Icon will be on your desktop. Start the program by double-clicking this icon. You can also start the program from the start menu by selecting Start: Oman Systems: ProEstimate.The first time you start the program, you will be prompted to enter your company name, serial number, and installation code (Figure 1).
NOTE: Ensure that your company name is entered EXACTLY the way you want it since this name will be displayed on ALL reports and cannot be changed.

After the registration screen is completed, the screen in Figure 2, below, is displayed allowing you to enter default settings for the program.

The first time starting the program, use the password "proest". This password will temporarily give you full access to the system. You should change this password in the security databse.

After you have installed the program, you may need to change the program preferences to set up the program the way you want it to operate.
