Material Categories Database

The Material Category Database is a user-defined database used to enter the Categories of work to which each material item or crew belongs. The Figure below shows the Edit Screen, which allows Categories to be added and deleted. When this option is selected, the first Category in the database is displayed.

Code

This field is the Category code. The code is a 1 to 10 character field used by the program to identify the Category. The code entered must be UNIQUE; no two categories can have the same code. The codes can be letters or numbers or a combination of both. The items are sorted by Code value(numerical then alphabetically).
