Entering Prices

 There are two basic methods availble to enter prices for a pay item:

Enter plug prices:

This is the simplest But Most Inaccurate method. You can enter plug prices on the Main Estimate Screen by pressing the “Enter Prices” button OR on the Main Spreadsheet Screen (accessed by pressing the “Spreadsheet” button on the Main Estimate Screen).

Add Tasks:

This option allows you to enter a quantity, production rate or estimated time; then you can enter detailed cost information (labor, equipment, materials, subs, and other cost items). This option allows for much greater detail and accuracy than the plug price option.

** NOTE on Using Plug Prices**

If a pay item has tasks, you can only enter prices for the current tasks or add new tasks. Once any task has been entered for a pay item, any existing plug prices are deleted AND the pay item totals are calculated using the total for each task under that pay item.
