| If a pay item does not have any tasks entered, you can select the “ENTER PRICES” button (Figure 1, above) on the Main Estimate Screen. Pressing this button will display the window shown in Figure 2, below. |

You can enter plug prices for the current pay item and mark cost categories as a DBE or WBE.

This portion of the screen shows the current pay item information. This data CANNOT be changed on this screen. |

"Cost" Fields
|
These fields are used to enter the UNIT price for each of the cost types for the current pay item. This screen happens to show all eight cost types. If you created a project using less than eight types, only the cost types that you selected will be displayed on the screen.

Tax
|
The “Tax” check boxes tell the system whether or not to automatically add sales tax to the material and/or supply item if a sales tax rate was entered in the Project Settings. |

DBE
|
These buttons allow you to enter the minority status for the selected cost types (Material, Supplies, Sub, or Hauling). See the section titled Monitoring DBE/WBE Participation for more information on this option.

Save
|
Press the SAVE button to save any changes you make on this screen. You will be returned to the Main Estimate Screen. |
