Q. Can I control the frequency of project Auto Saves?

A. Yes, the "Auto Save every ____ minutes" field controls the Auto Save frequency when working in a project. We highly recommend that you set this frequency no higher than 15 minutes.  5 minutes is even safer.


Q. How can I be reminded to back up my program data?

A. Checking the box next to "Auto Sys Backup every ____days" will set the program reminder. Use the PATH button to select a specified location for the backup files (C:Winheavy by default). The program reminder will prompt to start backup, and selecting YES will begin the backup procedure.


Q. Can Windows automatically back up my program data at a predetermined time?

A. Yes,using Microsoft Window's scheduling tool.  Press the Schedule button for options, and press Save to begin the automatic process.


Q. My laptop is on a Network but I will be working out of the office.  Can I un-sync from ProEstimate Network to work on my own?

A. Yes, first select "This computer is a Laptop" on the Preferences/ Back Up tab.  Once you close the program you will be prompted to Un-Sync; follow the prompts.  For more information see syncing in the help system.
