Export to Spreadsheet

This option allows estimate information to be downloaded (or copied) into a spreadsheet file. At this time ProEstimate - HEAVY supports export to the following spreadsheet formats:

Microsoft Excel

Up to Version 2010

Lotus 1-2-3

Up to Version 5.0

The information included in the spreadsheet file is similar to the information in the “Summary Spreadsheet” report. The file contains the following information:

Pay Item Number and Description

Bid Quantity and Unit

Labor, Equipment, Material, Sub, and Other Unit Costs

Mark-up, Unit Bid, and Extension

ProEstimate HEAVY does not provide any spreadsheet formulas in the spreadsheet file. All the numbers are actual and not based on any calculation within the spreadsheet. This allows the user to set up any spreadsheet format and manipulate the numbers in any way desired.

The following options will be displayed after the job is selected:

File type	This option allows the user to select the type of file to create. You can select one of the following types: Excel or Lotus
Detailed Cost	Selecting this option will export detailed cost data for each cost type. If this option is not selected, only the totals for each pay item will be exported.
Cost Code	This option allows you to include the Cost Code for each pay item.
Include Tasks	Selecting this option will include a line for each task under each pay item. If this option is not selected, only the pay items will be exported.
Sort Code	This option allows you to include the Sort Code for each pay item.
Prices	These buttons allow you to select either the Calculated or Balanced prices to export.
Export	Once you have selected the desired options and the file type, press the EXPORT button to create the file. After pressing this button, you will be prompted to select the path and file name to export.
