Version 8.82

Oman Systems announces the release of ProEstimate Heavy Version 8.82. Listed below are the changes and updates to the program. If you have any suggestions for future enhancements, please do not hesitate to contact us.

NOTE: NETWORK USERS - If updating from a version earlier than version 7.00 then install update on each local workstation.

Listed below are the new features added to the system and you can click on the link below that will take you to the location in the help system for additional information about these features

NEW	Updated the project list window to add a number of new features. Updated the screen layout to be more consistent with the standard windows explorer format showing the folders on the left and the folder data on the right. Added the ability to drag and drop projects into any folder on the left Updated the options on the screen to better organize the options. Updated the screen to "remember" the column layout and screen position when you close the program Updated the screen to "remember" the last folder you were in and return to that folder the next time you start the system. Added the ability to move, rename and delete folders within the system. Added more project status options on the project list (Won/Lost/Pending). Updated the Reports option on the project list screen to add more options for filtering and listing projects within the system. Added a new Search option on the project lists screen find and search for specific projects (by time frame, project status, estimator, etc.).
NEW	Updated the Project Settings screen to put all the markups on a single screen instead of the individual cost types screens. This new screen is the second screen you see on the project settings wizard.
NEW	Updated the DBE tracking throughout the system to allow for more tracking options and to allow for individual subs/suppliers to be included multiple DBE types. Added a new DBE database (from the Contractor Database select EDIT: Edit DBE Type Database) to set up multiple types of DBE's. Added the ability to label subs/suppliers to be in multiple DBE types. Double click on the DBE column to display and select the DBE types for the selected contractor. Any contractor that is assigned to more than one DBE type will be listed in red. Updated the project settings screen to allow the user to set up and track multiple types of DBE goals within the project. Updated the DBE Status screen to show the current status for all DBE types that have been selected for the project. Updated the system reports to list the different DBE types within the project
NEW	Updated the sub and supplier pricings sheets to add new features and to corrects a couple of items. On the new Pricing Sheet summary screen (Pricing Sheets button on the main estimate screen), the screen colors have been updated to show the status of each pricing sheet. GREEN - indicates the load bidder is loaded, YELLOW - indicates no prices have been loaded and RED - indicated a non-low bidder has been loaded. Updated the pricing sheet export to Excel to show the sort code (or line number) within the pricing sheet when the "Show Sort Code" option is selected on the project settings screen. Updated the import routine to show a zero price if the user entered a non numeric value into the unit price cell (such as N/A). Updated the pricing sheet system to properly update all "Material" pricing sheets if the pay item quantity is changed.
NEW	Updated items on the closing menu: Updated the "Balance Bid" screen to remove the "Replace w/Cost" option and only show the "Replace w/Calculated Bid" option. The "Replace with Cost" is still available from the Options menu. On the Indirects Spread screen, updated the values in the "Percentage" column if you return to the spread screen after initially spreading the indirect cost.
UPDATE	Updated the summary spreadsheet report to properly wrap the tasks (when "Include Tasks" option is selected).
NEW	When creating a new custom quote sheet, added a "Select All" option to the exclusions screen.
